Fono lived a limitless grateful life. He navigated his life around his circumstances, not to dictate how his ailing body would negate his story. He lived passionately for the things that mattered most; love of God, Family, People, and Culture.  At the peak of his career as an educator in American Samoa, he medically retired but continued to pray for the success of young Samoan students. Therefore, to continue his hope, we offer two awards of 1,000 each to a Samoan descent high school graduate entering college with this graduating class of 2024.
