Saina Adi Willis, is a proud 2024 graduate of Faasao Marist High School in American Samoa. Saina exemplifies an outstanding work ethic and remarkable self-motivation in her pursuit of dreams. Her high school experience boasts a vibrant array of achievements, including leadership positions, volunteer endeavors, and her role as treasurer of the National Honor Society, along with active participation in HOSA and the Close Up foundation. Additionally, she shined as the captain of her school’s softball team. She was also a selected member of the U18 American Samoan softball team that played in the Oceania Tournament.
Outside the classroom, Saina engaged actively in her church and learned from her elders, from whom she has gained a profound appreciation and love for her culture. "My culture has taught me how to be strong and disciplined," she says. With this foundation, Saina passionately pursues her love for softball, aspiring to become a professional player. She continues her journey at Mid-American Christian University in Oklahoma, where she aims to play softball while earning her degree in Business Administration.

Haylie Tuiasosopo, is a 2024 graduate from Tafuna High School in American Samoa, where her high school experience is rich with accomplishments. As Student Body President and Captain of the Softball Team, along with maintaining a remarkable 3.97 cumulative GPA, Haylie's dedication to volunteerism and leadership epitomizes her time at Tafuna.
"I am a deserving candidate due to my steadfast commitment to academic excellence, my passion for community service, and my desire to return home to uplift our people. Throughout my educational journey, I have actively balanced sports, academic competitions, volunteer activities, and multiple leadership responsibilities."
Haylie aims to pursue a degree in Marketing at Arizona State University, with the goal of leveraging her education to tackle social issues and make a positive impact on her Samoan community, after graduation.

David, an aspired Accountant aims to be equipped to financially manage his family’s future entrepreneurial goals. A student at American Samoa Community College, David has already built a strong foundation for success through an impressive resume of experiences in summer jobs as well as professional trainings.
Son of Salaevalu and Lealavaa Loia, David is one of seven siblings. He is described by his recommender as shy, dependable, hard worker, and an active member of his community. Utilizing the teachings of his pro-education and staunch Christian following parents, David has built the values of the concept that, as a good community member, you must be a good follower as well as a leader when given the chance. With these principles that he has learned in his young life, David is on the pathway to be an impactful future leader.
